Recipe: The Lady's Cheesy Mac

The Lady's Cheesy Mac

DEGREE OF DIFFICULTY: Easy
RECIPE TYPE: Pasta, Sides
PREP TIME: 30 minutes
COOK TIME: 30-45 minutes
OUTCOME: Delicious...a family favorite

RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:

4 cups cooked macaroni (I use elbows or corkscrew pasta), drained
4 Tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt

DIRECTIONS:
1. Cook pasta according to package directions for firm pasta. Drain.

2. While the pasta is still hot, add butter and stir until melted. Then add grated cheddar cheese and stir. 


3. Mix other ingredients together


4. Add this mixture to the pasta and mix together.


5. Place in a greased casserole dish. Top with additional cheese if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes.
