I am a Christian, a mommy, and a wife who makes her living caring for other people's very tiny or very sick newborn babies as a neonatal nurse pracitioner. When I'm not at work I love to read, cook, and bake. I love most dogs, and tolerate some cats. I was born sarcastic and try to find the humor in every situation (much to the chagrin of my poor husband).
Sophie is starting her survival swim classes next week. If you have never heard of this, it is amazing. It is designed to teach babies Sophie’s age to float until they are rescued should they fall in the water. Go to their website atwww.infantswim.com, it’s amazing. In the meantime we decided to take her to the pool for the first time to break in her suit. We also got her a pool for the backyard, but the water was a little too cold for her!
These pictures are actually almost a month old now, I would have posted them sooner but they were stuck on the camera because Adam’s keyboard wouldn’t work. Once he figured out there were 3 batteries instead of just the 2 he changed out twice…it started working better! Sadly, he’s actually very savy!. Anyway, just a funny sidenote! These are two of my best friends Julie and Janet. Julie is Logan’s mom and Janet is the “Aunt Jan” most of you know! Here we are after Julie’s baby shower in Franklin. We have almost the same picture from when I was pregnant with Sophie. I love these girls and can’t wait to meet Brooks! The other picture is of Julie and Darrell and I just think it is adorable! You can imagine how incredibly cute their child and child to be are!
This is what happens when you miss your nap at Spring Day. She started to lean over to look at something and when her head found Wendy’s knee she just stayed there!
Sophie and I got to spend the afternoon with Wendy at Brentwood High School for Spring Day. We got to eat lunch and listen to music and watch the kids goof off. Sophie had a ball!
