Poppy gave Sophie the rest of his corn…she probably would have chewed on it ALL DAY. She loved it!

Swimming
Sophie is starting her survival swim classes next week. If you have never heard of this, it is amazing. It is designed to teach babies Sophie’s age to float until they are rescued should they fall in the water. Go to their website at www.infantswim.com, it’s amazing. In the meantime we decided to take her to the pool for the first time to break in her suit. We also got her a pool for the backyard, but the water was a little too cold for her!
Welcoming Brooks Reid Poteet
These pictures are actually almost a month old now, I would have posted them sooner but they were stuck on the camera because Adam’s keyboard wouldn’t work. Once he figured out there were 3 batteries instead of just the 2 he changed out twice…it started working better! Sadly, he’s actually very savy!. Anyway, just a funny sidenote! These are two of my best friends Julie and Janet. Julie is Logan’s mom and Janet is the “Aunt Jan” most of you know! Here we are after Julie’s baby shower in Franklin. We have almost the same picture from when I was pregnant with Sophie. I love these girls and can’t wait to meet Brooks! The other picture is of Julie and Darrell and I just think it is adorable! You can imagine how incredibly cute their child and child to be are!
Growing Sophie
I thought it might be fun to see how she has changed! I am going to post pictures from each month of Sophie’s life...

The Tourist
Here Sophie is at a football scrimmage. She looks suspiciously like a tourist, all she needs is a camera!

First Mother's Day
We actually forgot to take pictures and Sophie had already changed out of her dress…but nonetheless, how cute is she?

Sleepyhead
This is what happens when you miss your nap at Spring Day. She started to lean over to look at something and when her head found Wendy’s knee she just stayed there!
Hey Pap-Pap
Does this make you cringe? Yes, that’s my foot about the level of my ear. Just checking to see if you look at my blog.
Spring Day
Sophie and I got to spend the afternoon with Wendy at Brentwood High School for Spring Day. We got to eat lunch and listen to music and watch the kids goof off. Sophie had a ball!
