JOSIE IS HERE!!!

My sister Wendy and brother-in-law Jason had their 1st baby on November 25th at 1:01 am. Her name is Josephine “Josie”. Josie has some of the best hair I have ever seen on a newborn! I can’t wait to give her a bath! Josie and Sophie could not be more opposite in coloring…just like their mommies! But both are absolutely gorgeous! What a beautiful family…check out Sophie chilling on the sofa. Jason was getting impatient, so I put the last picture of them in to show his mouth mouthing off at me!

Here is Sophie's new hat from her Nana! Look how cute she is! We went to the Bristol track to look at the Speedway in lights. Sophie loved all the lights. And another random picture of Sophie in a onesie at the dinner table.

Sophie's First Thanksgiving

We went to Kingsport to celebrate Thanksgiving with the Huskins. Here are some pictures of Sophie watching her 1st Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade and sitting at her 1st Thanksgiving dinner.

Jumper

Sophie got to try out her cousin’s doorway jumper while we were in Kingsport. Maybe Santa will bring her one, she loved it!

Exersaucer

Sophie is now big enough to go in her exersaucer! She did great playing in it while I took a shower. I don’t think she quite gets it yet, but I heard many of the toys making noise and the lights kept her attention. Look how big she is getting! It is going too fast!!!

Logan's Birthday

Last weekend we went to Knoxville to celebrate Logan Poteet’s 4th birthday! I can’t believe he is 4 already, I’m depressed. Sophie was the ultimate party girl…until she missed her nap one too many times! Here are some pictures of Logan and Adam playing with Logan’s new toys. He got a box of dress up clothes and Adam pointed out that it is almost the complete set of the Village People costumes. Now if it came in adult size for my mom….JUST KIDDING MOM!!! 

First of all…I guess I’m glad I had a C-section judging from the size of Adam’s head. One picture is of Logan acting after being “beaten” with the plastic night stick…something about this is slightly disturbing. Remember that Logan’s daddy used to be a metro police officer…hmmm. We left their house with Darrell in cuffs and Logan “beating” him while Darrell yelled “Uncle…uncle…MOMMY help me!” Logan put the plastic cuffs on too tight and he was really stuck in them. Too funny! You’ll notice Sophie’s pink cheeks…proof that she is her mother’s daughter!

Tummy Time

Sophie is getting MUCH better at tummy time, especially if you give her a massage while she is doing it!
