Floor 1...Sophie 0...Versed takes it all

During report at work my phone started ringing. It was Adam. The first time I ignored it. The second time I figured something was wrong so I answered.

Katie: I'm in the middle of report...is this important?
Adam: I'm just calling to let you know that I'm taking Sophie to the ER.
Katie: WHAT?!?
Adam: I think she broke her nose.
Katie: WHAT?!?
Adam: Her nose is bleeding
Katie: What happened?
Adam: She tripped and hit her head on the floor and I think she broke her nose and she has a huge purple knot on her head and she's acting strangely.
Katie: Dear GOD...I'll meet you there!

I jumped in my car and met them at the ER. After multiple doses of Versed we were able to obtain a CT Scan and everything was fine...poor baby!

Shoeahoholic?

wearing mommy's Danskos

New Cowgirl Boots!

Not sure what to title this...

This is how I found Sophie when I came out of the bedroom.

The pictures speak for themselves...the doggies are not hiding any clothing.

Farm Hands

I can't recall why both girls are pantless while looking at the cows, but I guess it seemed like a good idea at the time and sure made some cute pictures.

Notice Josie is climbing the fence while Sophie just watches her

Ballet

Sophie LOVES to dance. I don't mean she likes to sway to music, I mean she LOVES to dance...and she's good. The child has rhythm. We signed her up at the Green Hills School of Dance for ballet lessons. I think the typical family that enrolls their child in this school is definitely within a higher tax bracket, but Sophie loves her dance classes and looks forward to them every week. I, personally, love her chunky thighs, hair in a bun, and tiny little ballet slippers! There is a recital in May and I am already looking forward to it! I'm so "that mom" right now, but seriously, how cute is my little ballerina?
