Big Shoes to Fill

Sophie LOVES shoes. She loves her shoes, she loves my shoes, she even loves Adam's shoes. Every once in a awhile you will hear clomping down the hall. There you will find Sophie trying to manage some pretty big shoes on her very little feet!

Mommy's Helper

I hosted a wedding shower for a friend of mine at work. I made cupcakes for everyone to take home as favors. Sophie was fascinated by the kitchen aid mixer (that MUST be genetic).

I don't know what she was trying to do, but she managed to make her pants into shorts. She was very proud of herself. 

Drum Solo

Thank you Caillou. Sophie was watching the "Marching Band" episode of Caillou on a regular basis (I believe Janet Gibson saw it no less than 40 times on the way to and from Florida). Then she realized that she also had a drum with a strap and could re-enact it at any time. It is HILARIOUS to watch her march around the house with her drum. The girl has rhythm.

One night when Sophie was clearly not interested in what I wanted her to do, I got frustrated with her. Finally I looked at her and said "Sophie, it is time to march your little self upstairs and get ready for bed." She got up from what she was doing and grabbed my hand. As we were headed to the stairs I wondered why she was walking so funny. I looked down and she was....you guessed it...marching.

My niece...is CRAZY

And I LOVE that about her...we are not sure what happened here, but it looks suspiciously like a mass casualty.
