Cookies for Santa
Sophie did get to meet Santa this year at Opryland Hotel (which will go down in history as my WORST idea of 2007…more on that later) but those pictures are all on the video camera that is taking FOREVER to download, so I’ll have to post those later. In the meantime, here is Sophie putting out cookies and milk for Santa. And yes, she left cookies and milk. When I was little Santa requested pretzels and beer because he got too many cookies and apparently is lactose intolerant!

My Name is Spike
For those of you who don’t know, my nickname when I was little was Spike because my hair stood on end. When I got a little girlier, my mom made my dad change it to Spikette. When I saw this outfit I HAD to have it! If you can’t read it, it says “My name is Spike.” The only audio/video I’ve heard of myself as a child is me talking into a microphone and I said “My name is Spike Hart” to which my sister replied “I think she’s dumb.” And I’ve been warped ever since. The 2nd picture is Sophie’s response to Tigger smacking her in the face with his tail…seriously, does anyone want a cat?

Swinging
We met Colleen, Michael, & Lucy at the park in the neighborhood and Sophie tried out the swings for the 1st time. She LOVED them. At first she couldn’t figure out what to do with her head, which I thought was HILARIOUS. But once she picked her head up she really enjoyed it. BTW, it was 76 degrees in DECEMBER. And for those of you who are wondering…her shirt says “My dad is the man.” Thanks to Uncle Blake and Aunt Michelle…because we all know I didn’t buy it! JUST KIDDING.

JOSIE IS HERE!!!
My sister Wendy and brother-in-law Jason had their 1st baby on November 25th at 1:01 am. Her name is Josephine “Josie”. Josie has some of the best hair I have ever seen on a newborn! I can’t wait to give her a bath! Josie and Sophie could not be more opposite in coloring…just like their mommies! But both are absolutely gorgeous! What a beautiful family…check out Sophie chilling on the sofa. Jason was getting impatient, so I put the last picture of them in to show his mouth mouthing off at me!

Sophie's Hat
