Seagrove Beach

Summer vacation this year was a week at Seagrove Beach with the Poteets, Ms. Debbie (Darrell's mom, not Ms. Debbie from daycare) and "Aunt" Jan. We had so much fun. We rented a beach house with it's own pool and we were just steps from the ocean. Sophie was not a huge fan of the sand, or the ocean, or the pool, or of sleeping on the floor on an airbed (she spent the week in our bed) BUT she was a huge fan of the Poteet boys!

Dancing Queen

Jump Zone

I will try to post this for the 3rd time. We took the girls to Jump Zone. Josie loved everything! Sophie found a couple of things she sort of liked, as I expected from my sweet timid girl!

HOT at the park

Just a random play-date at the park...but man was it HOT.

More eyesies

I love Sophie in sunglasses and she loves her "eyesies"

This is so wrong...

But yet so funny. I bought Sophie some panties in preparation for potty training. She loved them...so much that she wore them on her head!

I CAN HEAR YOU NOW!

Pre-Surgery...high as a kite...just the way we like her (when hospitals are involved)

On the way home...notice doggy's necklace
After almost a year of participation in a speech/language study at Vanderbilt, Sophie finally had enough ear infections to warrant tubes in her ears. At her consult with the ENT she could only hear at one frequency at a high decible level. After her tubes she could hear across all frequencies at a much lower decible. Hopefully this is what she needs to jump start her speech!

All I can say is...I LOVE versed. What a great drug.

This is 1200 the day of surgery...what a trooper!
